Alex and Aiji are one of the most stylish couples I've ever shot for. Aiji wore vibrant blue shoes to match his tie. Alex wore a veil she made, her mother's vintage John Lewis wedding dress, a necklace handmade by her friend and Irregular Choice shoes. Alex also made her bridesmaid's teal dresses! Her mother's dress had a gorgeous 80s collar with puffed sleeves and a ruched sash. They got married at the St Andrews Church in Mells, and their reception was at the rustic Tithe Barn just down the road. Alex had made octopus bride and groom cake toppers to go on top on a sea wave cake, and also decorated the floral table pieces in octopii and the tables in origami octopii. The ceiling was strung with brightly coloured rainbow paper pom poms! To entertain their guests they had vintage lawn games and the gramophone DJs and mini sandwiches for canapes. The wedding dinner was a hog roast and the wedding band comprised of family friends! For the first dance and party, Alex changed into a white mummy bandage dress from Black Milk.
