Anna-Marie and Kevin got married at the elegant and wonderful Orchardleigh House in Somerset! I love shooting in this part of England as it’s quite rare I’d head that far South West otherwise! It allows me to go cheese shopping! They started the day getting ready in the bridal suite of the House, where AM wore a stunning Jenny Packham dress and her bridesmaids wore unique pure green dresses from Deadly is the Female. Kevin wore a cool grey wool suit with a mulberry coloured spotted tie. They held the ceremony next to the fireplace, with the guests seated along the foyer corridor. After the ceremony the Orchardleigh House staff expertly turned the same area into the reception drinks area, also using another room for Winter Pimms. AM and Kevin had decorated the dinner tables with twine wrapped pink flowers and hilariously, selfie sticks on every table. They also put fake casino money on the tables to be used on the roulette and black jack tables that they hired for after dinner entertainment. They had also hired a close up magician, a Bee Gees tribute band and a photo booth! It’s safe to say everyone had tons of fun and enjoyed themselves thoroughly! I do find that I love shooting weddings with games or some kind of interactive activity for guests to do, it allows me to get a greater variety of shots beyond frames of people chatting and laughing!
