English wedding photography in Singapore for the price of chicken rice and something nice!

One of my main photography inspirations is this guy called Lucky Perera. He doesn’t shoot in a similar style to me at all, but I’ve always admired his work ethics and generally he’s an awesome all round dude. A while ago, whilst jetting around the world, he offered his photography services in return for being shown one cool thing in each country. His blog post offering this service was actually the first thing I’d read about him on his website, and it really inspired me to remember that photography could be more than making a living; That it could also be a way to actually live more. This really resounded with me because one of my long-term aspirations is to be a photojournalist. I love the way photojournalism facilitates encountering new and different people, so it was really nice to see how wedding photography could also help you connect with people around the world.

Lucky and I, not at all drunk at this point in the evening

This December 2013 I will be in Singapore between the 2nd and the 15th visiting my 97 year old grandma. Whilst I’m there I am offering one lucky couple my wedding photography services worth $2400SGD in exchange for being shown something off the beaten tourist track. And maybe a plate of Hainese chicken rice because I love dat shiz! I go to Singapore mostly to see family, so my experience of Singapore extends to my Uncle’s favourite hawker stalls. This year I’d like to see something a little bit different.

In terms of what I offer, I will shoot a full day from prep to party for a couple who are interested in a bit of quirky documentary photography for their wedding. If you already have a wedding photographer booked, but are interested in my offer, as long as your main photographer is happy to have me second shoot, I’m happy to do that.
