Jasmine and Sean are a truly sweet down to earth couple who dream of a rustic, independent life on their own smallholding with lots of children. As a result, Huntstile Organic Farm was the perfect location for their weekender wedding with a small number of family and friends. Everyone stayed on site and I joined them the night before for a pizza dinner! They got ready after one of the fabbiest tasting full English brekkies I've had in ages (good quality eggs make all the difference!). Jasmine is officially the first bride I've known to give a hunting axe as a wedding gift to her husband! She wore a sweet pink polka dot A line dress from Candy Anthony and Irregular choice shoes!
Once everyone was ready everyone got into a bunting decorated tractor to go to the hilltop where their ceremony was to take place. During the ceremony everyone had a mini toast, their friends and Jasmine's brother gave readings from Phillip Pullman and a self-written poem. They performed a handfasting with the help of Jasmine's mum and added the first soil to a tree they could take to their home, to which all the guests also added soil.
After the civil ceremony back at the Farm all the guests enjoyed some drinks and canapes and went to visit the lovely piggies, chickens and goats around the farm!
When everyone came in for dinner they had a few short speeches before food, dressing up, chatting and dancing! There was also a huge bonfire outside that the guests cuddled around!
