Matt and Zoe are a really down to earth couple who got married in two really cool East London wedding venues. They were really adamant that their wedding photos should capture their friends and family, they weren’t really into the decor and fancy bits… however Zoe got surprise gifts from her bridesmaids- these amazing Sophia Webster Skye Cloud sandals and a quirky Marry Me clutch, so I took a few shots of those.
Their wedding day started with their ceremony was in the Union Chapel, which is a fantastic church/music venue in Islington. It’s such a big beautiful venue with the perfect acoustics for the London Contemporary Choir who performed all of Matt and Zoe’s ceremony music. They were so fantastic I almost shed a tear at their rendition of Dog Days Are Over, I can’t recommend these guys enough if you want edgy acapella music at your wedding!
Following that, we all went to The Peasant, which is a mega popular laid back London wedding reception venue. It has brilliant food and punky decor. I love the colours they have at The Peasant, it’s always such a lovely bright backdrop. After their yummy wedding dinner, Matt and Zoe has a series of emotional speeches, followed by their twirly first dance and straight into party mode!
