A few weeks ago I had the lovely opportunity to shoot a Bar Mitzvah in the North Finchley Arts Depot, which is in North London near my home. The event was planned immaculately by Classico Productions complete with atmospheric blue mood lighting and disco ball centrepieces. Even though I mostly shoot weddings I love shooting private events like Bar and Bat Mitzvah parties because the Jewish dancing really works with my fun documentary style. I’ve only posted a few photos here to keep the special event relatively private, but as you can see I love to cover the whole event from the details to grown up chat and mega party time! I did take an elbow to the forehead to get some of these crazy dancing shots but it was well worth it!
