Alternative Wedding Inspiration: My directory of ethical, eco-friendly, green and fair trade wedding suppliers

Ethical, eco-friendly, fair trade fashion, i.e. clothes that don't produce collateral damage such as polluted drinking water, poor wages and horrid working conditions, is something that has recently become really important to me in my everyday life. It made me realise that you rarely see this kind of topic being addressed in an industry that potentially creates lots of unnecessary waste (you really will only wear that dress once!), so I did a bit of research and here's my list of wedding suppliers, services and resources that can help you have an ethical wedding! I intend to keep adding to it as I discover more, so if you have anything you'd like to add please comment below!

Wonderful that you have included reference to Fairmined and Fairtrade Gold rings. Purchasing ethically sourced jewellery makes an incredible difference to artisanal miners and their families and this choice is becoming increasingly popular with consumers who choose to know more about where their luxury goods are coming from.
