This was meant to be my first post for the new category “Marianne’s Misc.”. However, just as I was about to type it, I realised that I really should make a post about what each of the categories mean, rather than this blog being filled with mystery meat-esque posts! So, I guess now is a good a time as any!

As I am a documentary style photographer, often a lot of my photos reflect an in-joke or something-you-had-to-be-there-to-get kind of moments. Therefore, occasionally I will pick a photo I liked the moment of and share a bit behind it

These posts will be largely relevant to couples in the wedding planning period, information about wedding suppliers, inspiration and ideas.

Aha, finally to the new category! Marianne’s misc. will consist of more informal posts like random status updates, mini diary entries etc. Just generally keeping you up to date about the little person behind the cameras!
Annnnd that brings us back round to my original post, I wanted to share a photo from this weekend’s wedding, which was a beautiful festival wedding in Essex, sharing its date with the magnificent Glastonbury. The bride and groom were such an awesome couple, and for the first time ever I can say I camped overnight in a field with a couple and the wedding party! They really made me feel welcome and I can’t wait to share the rest of their sneak preview!
