Meera and Devan are a super chill modern couple who wanted to have the closest they could get to non-traditional Asian wedding photography for their mandap ceremony at Northbrook Park. Instead of classic red they had baby pink and light, bright colours throughout the mandap flowers and the reception candle centrepieces. They also, rather unusually, decided to have their wedding covered by just me, sans a second shooter. After the Indian ceremony the guests enjoyed drinks in the glorious sunshine before getting changed for the evening dinner. Meera's friends came up with the excellent idea of stealing Devan's shoes (a wedding tradition) during a "lifting photo", it ended in carnage with Devan being dropped on the floor! It also turns out Auld Lang Syne is a family tradition. Their speeches were brief before they opened the meal with scotch eggs! In short, it was a refreshingly relaxed Asian wedding!
