The Bethnal Green Town Hall Hotel is an incredible uniquely decorated space in East London, and perfect for the reception when you’re having a Hackney Town Hall wedding. B + G are Christian so they had their ceremony at their church St Pauls in Shadwell. This was after they started their wedding morning with Parkrun. Funnily enough this isn’t the first time I’ve photographed a bride and groom at Parkrun, but at least I didn’t have to run it this time!
After they got their barcodes scanned, B and her bridesmaid ran to get ready whilst G and his family took the tube to get ready at the ceremony church St Pauls in Shadwell.
They had their cake cutting and some refreshments after the ceremony at the church, before everyone got on a bus to the Town Hall Hotel wedding reception.
The Town Hall Hotel is a beautiful with quirky decor and ornaments across various rooms, it has the space to hold both ceremonies and receptions but B + G had their reception here.
As well as the usual speeches they also had bridesmaids speeches and a quiz!
