A London Loft Studios Wedding

Modern London wedding

I started the day with this couple in a beautiful artistic rental property close to their Loft Studios wedding. The bride and groom got ready together with the groom leaving early and the bride getting ready with her sister, father and daughter. The bride wore a cool modern two piece Jesus Peiro dress and the classic blue Manolo Blahnik Hangisi wedding shoes and the groom wore a blue suit with yellow details. The bouquets, buttonholes and venue floristry were done by Jar and Fern.

Loft Studios wedding ceremony

After getting ready, we all headed over to the incredible Loft Studios wedding venue that also holds numerous types of events. It's a fantastic white painted brick industrial space that has several rooms on two levels and a covered courtyard. The couple decorated the ceremony space with a gorgeous copper pipe and greenery arch. During the wedding ceremony, which was conducted by the couple's friend Helen, a Welsh choir sang, as the bride is proudly Welsh. They had several readings from friends, and following the ceremony everyone headed into the courtyard for drinks.

Rainy wedding plans

It was a bit of a stormy day, so periodically we all huddled over the covered section to enjoy the drinks and canapes whilst the Welsh men's choir sang a range of songs including the Welsh National Anthem

Before going in for dinner, the bride, best man, father of the bride and groom all gave speeches in the courtyard

Loft Studios wedding reception

After the speeches all the guests went to the upper floor to the beautifully decorated space that was styled by the in-house team who take care of the Loft Studios weddings. The long wooden tables were decorated with elegant white flowers and tulips in vintage glassware, with silver helium numbers for the table markers. The cake was made by one of my top bakers, fashion designer turned baker ARD Bakery.

The dinner consisted of yummy sharing tapas starters and steak provided by the fab Social Pantry...

They stocked the dancefloor with inflatable props and glasses for the kids, although the adults are big kids really at heart!
