London ceremony only wedding photography
Most of the time I offer my modern documentary wedding photography style over 8 hour and full day options. However, I recognise that lots of modern couples are choosing to keep it simple and easy. Nowadays, it’s becoming more usual for engaged couples to choose to have their civil ceremony with a few witnesses, and then head to a restaurant for a meal or head on home. A bit like an elopement without the journey time! Often this is because they’re having a wedding reception abroad, or a religious ceremony at a place of worship, and they still need to do the legal paperwork. It’s sometimes just a personal choice if they don’t want a lot of attention on the day! However, I think as it’s the moment you legally become married, it’s so important to have London wedding ceremony photography. Regardless of how small or short it is, it’s still an important memory. It’s also a nice chance to have relaxed group and couple photos, without the time pressure of the full wedding day. So just because you’re thinking of having a wedding civil ceremony, don’t miss the chance to have that photographed.

What kind of things are covered in London wedding ceremony photography?
For this kind of shoot, I anticipate 2 hours wedding photography coverage. I would come to the registry office where you’re getting married about 20 minutes before the ceremony time. I would capture some venue photos and shots of your guests and witnesses arriving, and then wait outside to photograph you arriving. During the ceremony I capture all the essential wedding moments: the ring exchange, the first kiss etc. all with my signature relaxed documentary wedding photography style. After the ceremony I will fulfil your group shot list, usually at the registry office itself to keep it easy for you and your guests. Then I suggest that we take some couple photos around the local area. The amount of time we spend on this is totally up to you!

How much does it cost for London wedding ceremony photography?
I start this wedding photography service from £300 for the first hour. This suits couples who just want their civil ceremony photographed, and a few group photos but not many couple photos. If you want a proper couple photoshoot after the wedding ceremony, this would add on up to an additional hour and the total for the 2 hour photography coverage would be £450. I offer this photography service on Thursdays and Fridays only, and for ceremonies at the following registry offices only:
Marylebone Town Hall
Hackney Town Hall
Stoke Newington Town Hall
Lambeth Town Hall
Southwark Registry Office
