Black wedding dress inspiration
Where do I begin with this amazing Halloween Rowton castle wedding! The bride and groom are both cosplayers and have their own custom vampire teeth! The bride wore a fantastic gothic black wedding dress which contrasted with her gorgeous flame coloured hair. Her bridesmaid also had the most wonderful hot pink hair. The bride wore a crescent moon hair piece and oil slick wedding boots. Her hair and make up was done by Poppy Michelle.

Dungeons and Dragons wedding guest book
This creative couple DIY’d their own amazing decor. They had the coolest geek wedding guest book idea I’ve ever seen, where guests rolled DnD dice and filled out the guest book based on their score. They had a truly monstrous card box! The brides custom bouquet had lightsabers, skulls and DnD dice.

Groom prep at Rowton Castle wedding
Rowton Castle has enough gothic rooms for both partners to get ready, so I also photographed the groom prep.

Outdoor wedding ceremony
The guests gathered for the rather sunny (for October!) outdoor wedding ceremony. The ceremony was held under the stone pillared structure with the gorgeous Rowton Castle in the background. The guests embraced the all black gothic dress code set for this Halloween wedding. During the celebrant led ceremony they passed the rings around to be warmed. They also had a hand fasting with immediate family and loved ones taking part.

Wedding drinks reception
After the ceremony the guests had drinks inside the parlour and in the glorious sunshine.

Alternative couple photos
This castle wedding day was rather sunny. So I tried to create some darker gothic style couple photos to match the couple’s aesthetic. The grounds of Rowton Castle have plenty of backdrops that perfectly compliment the wedding theme.

Gothic wedding dinner
The wedding dinner room was decorated with spiders, moons, Ouiji board pieces and custom lego figures as the wedding favours.

First dance
Rowton Castle weddings are held across several rooms. After dinner you move into the lovely bar area where the first dance is held. For their evening buffet they had food served out in the courtyard alongside fire pits for toasting marshmallows. The bride changed into a short teal dress so she could dance comfortably all night!
