Hackney Round Chapel wedding ceremony
As an East London wedding photographer I started my day at this East London wedding from the wonderful ceremony venue, the Round Chapel in Hackney. I last photographed a wedding at the Round Chapel quite a few years back so I really enjoyed returning here. Like last time, this was an Autumnal themed wedding. The groom wore an amazing dark green Beggars Run suit, which had custom embroidery of golden Autumn trees by Jessica Ingram. I’ve shot a groom before in a Beggars Run suit at this Zetter Townhouse wedding, it’s the go to place in Shoreditch for men’s suits. The bride wore a stunning Stephanie Allin dress from Morgan Davies Bridal wedding dress shop with elegant vintage billowy sleeves. The whole of the Round Chapel was decorated by the incredible Allotment florist.
The couple had a wonderful registrar led civil ceremony with readings given by family, followed by the most gorgeous confetti shower
Wedding photos at the Round Chapel Hackney
After the Round Chapel wedding ceremony the guests were walked over to the Clapton Country Club by designated ushers with ribbon wands! Whilst they went over C + G took their couple photos in the simply breathtaking light at the Round Chapel.

The wedding guests arrived at the Clapton Country Club where they were served drinks and canapés across the various spaces. As the couple held their wedding ceremony at Hackney Round Chapel, they were able to hold their drinks in the Department of Life at Clapton Country Club. Sometimes this isn’t possible if you hold a ceremony in this room as the chairs will be in the way, they usually let you back into it for the cocktail hour when they turn the main dinner space into the dance floor.
They decorated the dining tables with home made signs of their pets, such as bubble dash the cat. They also put up cool neon signs and more gorgeous floristry from The Allotment Florist, who has been featured in Vogue. Being an East London wedding photographer I photograph all the cool quirky details for both the couple and the suppliers to enjoy.
Between the most gorgeous colourful healthy wedding food served by the kitchen of Clapton Country Club, they had speeches from several friends and family.
The couple themselves gave speeches just before the dance floor which was lit with gorgeous multicoloured lights- an option included for all Clapton Country Club couples.
