Preston Court wedding Kent

Preston court wedding reception

Preston court wedding photographer

I have wanted to shoot a wedding at Preston Court since I first started shooting weddings over a decade ago. It’s such a cool unique space with the most incredible vintage organ interior and a whole vintage fairground outside. There’s a stunning outdoor ceremony space on a small island over water, and peacocks just wandering around the grounds elegantly. If you’re someone who doesn’t want to do too much to a venue it’s such a perfect space to hire. E + N however did an incredible job decorating Preston Court; they had their favourite book titles elegantly framed as place names, an onsite painter to record the day, a super quirky cake with grace cherries and gorgeous florals by Kasia at Gloria Studios. Before the ceremony, guests gather around the carousel and have the chance to play the vintage games. The vintage games include coconut shy, listing the glass bottle etc. When I went to photograph the first look between E + N, there were awesome huge peacocks roaming around. E absolutely served in a vintage style dress, long white gloves, and pearl handbag, N looked smart in his grey wool suit with pink details.

The speeches were brilliant, E + N’s friends and family absolutely smashed it and made everyone laugh and cry so hard. The couple hired a surprise ice cream van to come and serve ice cream for dessert to all the guests. After the wonderful dinner provided by Will Burnett, a private chef caterer, the couple and their friends competed on the vintage fairground games before starting the party off on the dance floor.
