Alternative Essex wedding photographer
I’ve been a London wedding photographer for over a decade and now I’m also an Essex wedding photographer. I’ve been blessed enough that couples from all over the country trust me to capture their awesome wedding. This year I’ve moved to Essex with my family, just on the end of the London tube line. Therefore, I want to demonstrate to engaged couples in Essex that they have a quirky local wedding photographer! I specialise in creating colourful, emotive wedding photos that will make you laugh and cry. It’s not just coverage of you and your wedding day, I focus a lot on your friends and family so everyone in the wedding has incredible memories to look back on. They get an updated profile pic, you get excellent blackmail material!
My documentary wedding photography style bridges the gap between classic photojournalism and joyful relaxed coverage. You’ll see your happiest wedding day moments, with purposeful artistic compositions and timeless colours that won’t look out of date in five years!
Here are some of the fun, alternative Essex wedding venues that I’ve photographed in the past. I’m also temporarily offering an amazing 20% discount for Essex wedding venues that I have yet to shoot at and would really like to add to my portfolio, so scroll to the bottom to check out that special bucket list, and get your incredible Essex wedding photography at a special price!
The Canary Shed wedding venue at Creeksea Place Barns
The Canary Shed at Creeksea Place Barns is the perfect quirky cool Essex wedding venue . It has a fabulous staff team who are open to your ideas. There is also the option to have your wedding ceremony indoors or outdoors. It has its signature super colourful hanging bird decor in the main barn. There’s ample grassy areas, and on site accommodation, perfect for a relaxed getting ready.

The Barns at Lodge Farm wedding
The Barns at Lodge Farm is run by an experienced and professional group and it’s characterised by its unique epic couple photo spots. There’s cool metal silos, wide open fields with the perfect sunset (which the staff will help direct you to), and fun hay bale backdrops. The reception warehouse is huge and is ideal for a bigger wedding party. The ceremony barn is rustic and wooden with gorgeous light.

Mulberry House wedding photographer
I’ve photographed a wedding at Mulberry House twice, and both of those weddings were super fun. It’s a country house wedding venue that is an easy blank space to decorate. Mulberry House has copious green space, a warm indoor area for the dinner and a super large marquee for the boozy dance floor. The multitude of spaces make Mulberry House an ideal venue if you’d like to give guests a range of quiet and party spaces to enjoy.

East Anglian Railway Museum wedding
It has been a long time since I photographed at the East Anglian Railway museum and I only live one hour’s drive away! It’s so close to home and so quirky, I’m super keen to photograph there again. A fun sense of humour and style is perfect for getting married here. That’s my ideal kind of couple. It’s a big beautiful warehouse space that needs no decor as it has so many cool details inside and outside the venue. What is super unique is at the end of the night you can even take the train home from the station which is a super cool touch!

Marks Hall wedding photographer
I’ve shot weddings at Marks Hall several times. It’s where I created one of my much requested light painting couple photos, right in front of the Marks Hall gazebo. The fairy lights create the most wonderful night time atmosphere for your dance party.

Braxted Park wedding photographer
Although a more classic venue in style, I loved photographing a wedding at Braxted Park as it was a stunning outdoor Jewish wedding. The Romanesque interiors of the venue are pretty cool too.

Discounts for Essex wedding photography
As I am new to the area, I am keen to add to my portfolio for very local venues. Therefore I will be offering an amazing 20% off my 9 hour or full day wedding photography services for the following venues! This only applies for the first booking at this venue, so get in touch ASAP to check if that’s you!
Browning Bros Wedding photographer
Browning Bros is a gorgeous outdoor tipi venue that caters for large woodland weddings. One of the wedding venues holds 120 guests and the other up to 200. You get exclusive use of the venue and all the tents and tipis are included. This is a brilliant opportunity as individual tipi hire can quickly add up. Also you have to organise your own glamping accommodation for guests. Although I have not photographed a wedding at Browning Bros, you will be able to see from these outdoor woodland weddings that I can definitely do your Browning Bros wedding photography justice!

Blake Hall Ongar wedding photos
Blake Hall is a very nifty 20 minute drive from home for me! I would love to come and photograph a wedding at Blake Hall. It looks like a stunning Essex barn venue, and I have photographed many different barn weddings all over the UK, so you can see from my photos here that you’d be in great hands.
