Relaxed photography for home garden weddings
K + T had a super personal back garden wedding in their family home. They essentially set up a huge marquee and decorated it with lots of vintage mismatched crockery. Their friends and family came round for a personal short ceremony, and lovely speeches followed by a lush meal. They both wore cool vintage wedding dresses with white Dr. Martens, and matching flower crowns, and their wedding party wore various shades of green. The caterers delivered incredible oysters and tasty canapés from the home kitchen. Guests were encouraged to come in colourful floral vibes!
Half day relaxed wedding photography
This was a special short coverage for me. As they’d been guests at a previous wedding I was happy to shoot for them. I hope this blog post shows what lovely memories can be captured even over a half day. Nowadays it’s so much more common to have a half day wedding or a more intimate event with smaller numbers of friends and family. Hosting your wedding party in your home can make everyone feel comfortable. It also allows you to easily have suppliers and necessities delivered to you which can save a lot of organisational hassle in the morning.
