Loft Studios wedding

Loft Studios wedding ceremony

This is my fourth time at the brilliant Loft Studios wedding venue in East London, it’s a regular spot for a London wedding photographer like me and I love it because every time I’ve been has been so unique. I’ve photographed a Jewish wedding at Loft Studios and an Indian wedding reception amongst others, and each wedding has looked so different from the last! For A+S’s wedding I was there for both the wedding ceremony, dinner and party. S got ready in the prep suite that Lost Studios provides just next to the outdoor courtyard, which is usually hard to come by for a central London wedding venue. A pulled up to Loft Studios in a beautiful cream and blue Rolls Royce, and the two brides had their first look in private before the ceremony.

Rainbow themed wedding

The infamous Lex Hamilton Studios decorated the space with her unique wedding floristry. The wedding had a disco and rainbow theme. The mini disco ball table plan hand made by the brides, and tables named after their favourite music venues/gigs. The family dog was walked in up the aisle during the ceremony. After the civil ceremony everyone gathered in the open courtyard to fire rainbow confetti cannons at the couple. At the end of the drinks reception in the courtyard everyone went in for dinner, more speeches and a family tradition of a huge bottle of Moet being opened and shared.

After the cake cut where A+S almost knocked the top tier off (cue all the laughter), the guests used the cool glitter bar set up to prepare for the epic dance floor and the brides changed into special just married socks and sequin converse. There was also a DIY Photo Booth complete with a ring light so everyone could take their wedding party selfies!

Thank you to all the amazing suppliers who made this happen!
